Camp Coconut used to be a day care facility  for children from 2004 until 2010. 

The property was unoccupied until Mithra decided to take care of his ancestral land
after studying Sustainable Food and Farming at Amherst, in the US. 

Maren studied Bioeconomy in Germany and chose to write her thesis in Sri Lanka about food waste reduction options.

During the covid-19 lockdown, we renovated
the buildings and started our little farm with
a couple of chickens, ducks and one cow.
